We hire only college and highschool students and are passionate about seeing you succeed. This makes for a great culture by encouraging meeting new people and having fun at work.
You are the reason our customers receive an enjoyable experience that is different than the typical contractor employee experience. This shows in our 98% approval rating and being in business since 2007. We complete 100-200 painting projects a year and hoping you can help us grow.

Summer Student Painter/Production Manager

Working for Prairie Rose during the summer is the best decision you could make. Here's why:
- This is a full-time position for the summer, 4-day weeks, so Fridays off (if weather permits and projects are complete).
- Part-time job during the school year with very flexible schedule to work around your classes.
- $16-25 an hour. (will receive an extra $/hr if you have a pickup)
- Tuition reimbursement bonuses
- Most projects are located in Fargo metro, some rural and lakes country.
- No painting experience needed - we train!
- We also give out one scholarship yearly to a worker. Last year the recipient received over $750.
Summer Student Power Washer

Enjoy the independence of this position with different work sites daily. And you can't beat getting a little wet in the heat of summer!
- This is a full-time position working 4 days a week 10 hour days. If weather permits and projects are produced Friday is off.
- Part-time availability during the school year very flexible schedule.
- $20.00 per hour - student must a have truck.
- Tuition reimbursement bonuses
- Most projects are located in Fargo metro.
- No experience needed - we train. Student must be comfortable with heights.
- We also give out one scholarship yearly to a worker. Last year the recipient received over $750!
Project Coordinator Intern

This is a unique internship that will give you direct experience and an opportunity for leadership. You will get real hands-on experience communicating with the home owner daily, managing your own crew of other college aged students, calculating and ordering supplies and even doing final walkthroughs / signoffs with the customer. This position will provide you with a meaningful work experience and allow you to grow your management skills. Come be a member of our team this summer. We are always excited to bring the right individuals on fulltime after graduation!
- This is a full-time position for the summer, 4-day weeks, so Fridays off (if weather permits and projects are complete).
- Part-time job during the school year with very flexible schedule to work around your classes.
- $17 - $25/hr. (dollar more per hour if own truck)

- Most projects are located in Fargo metro, some rural and lakes country.

- This part time position is extremely flexible. We work with your class schedule to have you work 10 hours/week up to as many as you would like. (If weather permits and projects are produced Friday is off.)
- $16-$20/hr, extra dollar/hr if own pickup. $20/hr for power washing, opportunity for $20-$25/hr
- Tuition reimbursement bonuses
- Most projects are located in Fargo metro. Some country and lakes area projects no more than an hour from Fargo.
- No painting experience needed - we train.
- We also give out one scholarship yearly to a painter upwards of $1,000!
WORKER FUN
At Prairie Rose, we have fun and give you the opportunity to get to really enjoy time with your co workers.
Our biggest goal is to get every job done right, but with the hard work we encourage everyone to have have fun. Our team has the great opportunity to spend time together outside of work doing things like dinner out especially Zorbas when working in DL, fishing, boating, volleyball and so much more! If you are looking to join a team where work isn't the only thing you get to do, this is it!
SCHOLARSHIPS
Our workers are always extremely hard working and dedicated to making money for their schooling over the summer. We know how hard it is to be a student, pay tuition, and just make it by.
Each summer we award one or more outstanding painters with a worker scholarship. Prairie Rose Painting and Roofing makes an initial contribution towards this scholarship. Our generous customers are given the opportunity to make a donation. When it comes to deciding who should receive the scholarship, 3-5 customers and community members on our panel will award the scholarship based on need for the money, dedication to your schooling, and how well their customer's experiences are positive and memorable ones.

BONUSES
There are several ways to make great money with Prairie Rose Painting and Roofing. Beyond your base pay you receive production bonuses, extra cash bonuses and customers are given the opportunity to tip you after the project. The bonuses can be upwards of 50-100% of your base pay! That is how you can make upwards of $18-$25/hr. If you work hard and give the customer an enjoyable experience you will reap the reward!
Each of our students start out at a base pay, and you receive raises once you gain skills and independence. Typically for new workers starting after your spring semester you will receive two raises over the summer. One after the 4th of July and one after Labor day. You receive bonuses based on hard work, timeliness of project completion, extra hours worked, and the length of time they stay at our company.
